Applying for asylum is a right, and the person is legally residing in the country throughout the <a href=\"https:\/\/asile.ch\/en\/memot\/de-quoi-parle-t-on\/procedure-dasile\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">asylum procedure.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>In Switzerland, the person receives an N permit. They have limited access to the labor market: only possible after leaving a <abbr class='c2c-text-hover' title='Federal asylum centers: places where applicants file their application and where the actors in the procedure, all gathered there, examine the application. Applicants are housed in these collective structures during the procedure.'>Chartered Financial Analyst<\/abbr> and the assignment to a canton, subject to authorization and restricted to certain sectors.
