Le premier rapport annuel d’AIDA présente un aperçu des résultats d’une enquête s’intéressant au cadre législatif et pratique des procédures d’asile, des conditions d’accueil et de détention de demandeurs d’asile dans 14 pays européens (Autriche, Belgique, Bulgarie, Allemagne, France, Grèce, Hongrie, Irlande, Italie, Malte, Pays-Bas, Pologne, Suède, Grande-Bretagne).
Le rapport s’intéresse en outre à des développements importants qui ont eu lieu dans le domaine de l’asile en 2012, y compris une première évaluation sur les négociations ayant trait au « package asile » dans le contexte de la constitution d’un système européen commun d’asile (CEAS).
