The review Living Together is doing well. Building on the momentum of the voting campaign and the mobilization it generated, our subscriber base has significantly increased. With 1,472 paying subscribers, 170 subscriptions given free of charge to various organizations, the press, and certain parliamentarians, and considering the copies that are passed from hand to hand, there are undoubtedly at least 2,000 people reading us.
A modest figure, in the scope of major newspapers, but this circulation is far from negligible on the scale of a solidarity movement within which our periodical serves as a link, and stimulates, quarter after quarter, commitments that are oh so necessary.
Good health Living Together This shows that we are meeting our audience's expectations. That doesn't prevent the editorial committee from sometimes questioning the need to renew the newspaper's content and format. Would you be interested in contributing?
Living Together is developed by an intercantonal team whose members have been active in the field of asylum for many years. None are resigning, but new faces, or rather new pens, would also be welcome to bring a fresh perspective to the reality of asylum.
Commitment to the editorial board is not extraordinarily demanding. Each of the five annual issues is essentially developed through a conference call to set a list of topics to cover and a meeting in Lausanne to discuss draft articles. It is also possible to collaborate with external correspondents who would inform us of topics and send us texts for publication.
Despite her twenty-two years and 114 issues, Living Together would not like to become a respectable old lady, whose content is churned out by a few dinosaur defenders of asylum law. It aims, tomorrow as yesterday, to be the reflection of a solidarity movement that has never accepted to bow its head despite an unfavorable political climate, and whose dynamism needs a vector of information and opinion like ours. Are there among our 2000 readers people who would like to take up this challenge with us? Do not hesitate to contact us if the adventure tempts you.
